Check PHP CodeAt the time, PHP, the one of the programming language type is accustomed to be used for all programmers throughout the world. It is not only due to the free licensed but also supported by programmers around the world. Thereby, this kind of programming language is liked by both newbies and experts.  Nowadays, the version is up to 5. The faster growth is pushed to repair bugs and other weaknesses that have to be fixed. Because of this, the programmers who use this language don’t have to worry if the application created will easy to be crashed by irresponsible people.

Besides repairing the existing bugs, the newer version from PHP is added with the other functions that could be directly utilizes therefore it is not necessary to make the certain function from scratch. For instance the function that is supported is empty(), explode(),implode() and so forth.

Empty() function is used to checking whether typical variable consists a string or not. It is a common way to check the data which comes from the form fulfilled by visitors or members in particular for checking the important data such as userID, password and others. The indicator shown is true if the character in the variable is existing or false for the vice versa.

There is the usage for instance to know the password which is fulfilled by user:

if(empty($_POST[password]))
echo "please insert the password";
else
echo "Thank You";

That is very simple, isn’t it? With that function, you will be able to know whether the user have already fulfilled the password or not. Actually, that function is possible to be eliminated. So, how is the way to do that? The four things that have to be thought are making variable saver will be checked, calculating the amount of existing character, making an indicator to show whether the variable is existing or not and last returning the variable value back.

Then, make this following script below:

Check function ($word)
{
$calculate=strlen($word);//using strlen function to calculate the character

   if($calculate>0)// comparing the amount of the character with 0
   return false; // returning the false value

  else // if amount of the character =0
  return true
   }

The function above is an example for check()--- function.  If the variable of password from the forms is

$_POST[password], you may create:

if(check($_POST[password]))
echo "please insert the password";
else
echo "Thank You";

The two examples above are almost same. Although there is provided by PHP certain function which is ready to be used, it is necessary to improve your capability on programming by making certain function you need by yourself.  Thereby, when you need to use other programming language you are easily to do this without any difficult found.  When you are accustomed to make specific algorithm to solve specific problem, you will easily conquer other programming that even never be used before.

Finally, you could balance when you need to use the function provided by PHP and when you should make the function by yourself. Fortunately, when you are able to make good function, you could send it to the vendor of PHP therefore your creation can be added to the next PHP version. You would get a side benefit that is to be famous next time. So, keep creative!
