It is an undeniable fact that the world we live today is driven by technology. With the various technological advancements the world is becoming increasingly connected and the term global village which was at one time a concept is now a reality. Mobile phones have greatly contributed to bringing the world together as one single unit where information flows freely.

One of the most recent mobile platforms is the Android operating system and by no means is it exaggerating to say that it has greatly revolutionized the mobile phone market. Ever since its development less than five years ago, scores of devices have been manufactured running on this platform.
