Android’s Popularity and Its Recent Lawsuit Issue

Beyond Google’s incredible success over its Android, this company is currently facing a case filed against it. Oracle has filed a federal copyright lawsuit claiming that Android operating system was created on Java software belongs to Oracle without previous agreement.
Google’s Android is already used by some computer manufacturers as smartphones’ operating system as well as operating system to run on computing devices. Dealing with Oracle’s lawsuit, the company stated that Google has violate the patent and copyrights of the Java software in which Oracle has acquired right after the company bought Sun Microsystems this year. In addition, the lawsuit was files in US District Court for Northern California.
Regarding this lawsuit issue, Google is not delivering any comment yet. However, according one analyst, the lawsuit against Google is pretty shocking because Sun had announced its decision to release key elements of the universally used programming language under an open-source license some years ago. This open-source Java software means everyone is allowed to use this software without charges.

The world is overwhelmed with the emergence of magnificent Apple’s iPad and a great number of tablet that take Google’s Android operating system onboard, in fact the worldwide audiences are still waiting for more breathtaking technology to come. Of course the primary launching invited critical acclaims and warm welcoming for the elegant design and sophisticated feature included, however the webOS and Palm Pre seemed not working very well as a pair. It means that Palm Pre was unable to join the tough competition with Apple’s iPhone. Apparently, the main problem conflicts this Palm Pre in market is the lack of mobile applications.

Recently, Apple establishes the mutual cooperation with Qualcomm for its iPhone by ordering CDMA chips that is planned to run over Verizon Wireless network. The plan will be carried out into a realization in December and the product as well as the service is reported to be ready in January 2011.
According to trusted sources, the Apple’s order is in fact include millions of units of CDMA chipsets from Qualcomm. The submitted order of those chipsets that fulfill the plan for iPhone to run on Verizon network is due in December.
