Four Government Agencies that are Adjusting to BYOD Culture

In recent years, thanks to the increasing ubiquity of smartphones and other high-end gadgets among the working population, private companies throughout the United States have begun to adopt bring your own device (BYOD) policies. The US government, meanwhile, has been relatively reluctant to follow suit, largely due to security concerns.
At first glance, this seems reasonable, but studies have shown that mixing overly restrictive regulations regarding how you can bring your own device with tech-savvy employees causes a set of arguably worse problems — including, ironically enough, a host of security risks. As a result, various government agencies, such as the following, have slowly but surely been changing their tune.

You don’t need to be a celeb to become the victim of telephone hacking. Anybody that listens to your voicemails without your permission is a telephone hacker. AT&T is surely a name to reckon with when it comes to US based mobile carriers. They even sell iPhone 5 locked to their SIMs and thanks to the awesome customer support they provide, there is no dearth of buyers. That being said, satisfaction is a relative word and surely AT&T is not the first choice of each and every iPhone 5 user. Some are not happy with the prices, some have complains regarding the network – on a whole, they want to switch to some other mobile carrier. Things get even more problematic if you need to travel outside US. You obviously won’t be interested in paying extra for international roaming and hence, a better option is to switch to the international carriers. Therefore, you will be availing the advantages of low local charges. For example, if you have come to UK, you will always prefer to use T-Mobile on your IPhone 5, rather than paying the abnormally high charges that you would incur in case of availing the international roaming facility of AT&T.
If you are travelling abroad, in most cases, you are not left with much time. In these cases, if you wish to take the manual route of unlocking an iPhone 5, you will probably be left in despair. So, you must be wondering how to get it factory unlocked in that case? Well, according to this article on How to Get Your AT&T iPhone 5 Factory SIM Card Unlocked, you can always take up the services of an official iPhone 5 unlocking provider.
Want Your Video to Go Viral? Don’t Be Boring
Written by Shannon Gibson Wednesday, 18 September 2013 01:06
The side-splittingly funny dance move gone wrong. The heartwarming return of a soldier to his family. The once-in-a-lifetime shot from half court. We’ve all seen these videos or ones like them, then shared them with our friends, who share them with their friends, and so on.
It seems every day there is a new viral video taking the online world by storm. Whether they are produced by an amateur using nothing more than his cellphone or created by a professional New York video production team, there is one thing all of these videos share: They are not boring. They may be funny, they may be emotional, they may be amazing or even simply thought-provoking, but they are never, ever boring.
And yet, so many companies that desperately want their videos to go viral and be viewed by thousands of people seem to forget that, releasing corporate videos that fail to catch viewers’ attention. Maybe they focus too much on talking heads who drone on about corporate mission statements and company history, or maybe it feels too much like a sales pitch. The video may be watched and shared by employees or the company’s clients, but the chances of a boring video going viral are somewhere between slim and zero.
