The .org Developer Announced the New Comer

The short domain name has been a favorite for website owners around the world, besides it looks distinguished, it tends to make visitors feel easy to remember it. From many popular good domain names heard throughout the internet, the non-profit one like .org domain name has its own fans.

Recently, Public Interest Registry that runs this domain name has made it official to announce that there would be new domain name soon entitled .ngo. It is said that this new name should be launched internationally in 2012. With the arrival of this new name for domain, many internet users will be able to end the site with something different, other than .net, .com, and more.

As you know that the non-profits domain name like .org applies no formal restrictions against for-profit companies signing up under the banner. On the contrary, people or organizations that desire to have website to run under .ngo must be officially identified as a non-governmental organization.

According to the company, this soon-to-be-released .ngo domain is designed to be a way to both consolidate and expand the global NGO community. They added that more organizations are expected to come more visible and online from the developing world. And surely there are more plans in order to make this domain more preferable for many non-governmental organizations.

They also managed the partnership in developing countries, especially to take the philanthropy online as well as expand the coverage. The major purpose of all of this is not the merely collect money in a short time. As they explained that there are a large number of NGOs or grassroots NGOs who are not online.

Seriously, the appearance of .ngo domain name would be a great shot for Public Interest Registry and its name a reliable dedicated charity domain as well as brand on online philanthropy would be much stronger. The current numbers of 9 million users will be topped more in the future once the .ngo domain name releases.
